WinTree uses the DPL as
input for every tree. It is best thought of as a program that collects fresh
data every time a decision tree is processed.
Syllogy – optionally working with your programming staff – will develop an extremely efficient DPL program. Once written, there is normally little need for modification. However, if you wish, your programmers will be given all the information they need to maintain the DPL.

Data Warehousing is the process of collecting corporate data from wide-ranging sources – flat files, databases, mainframe files – with the goal of extracting highly usable corporate information. The data is collected into a new data structure which is refreshed periodically.
For example, you may have purchased information about your customers from several different vendors. Or you may be tracking employee activities in disconnected training and HR systems. Once the Data Warehouse is created, fairly complex analysis tools must be used to extract the information you need.
